California 2008

We had our family vacation to California over Halloween. We had a good time and had many grandparents to help entertain the boys!

Talen was such a handsome policeman & Caden was the sweetest Elmo!

The boys with Grandpa Keith. He is the reason why they wouldn't sit still for pictures. They wanted to play in the water with PaPa Keith!!

They did manage to sit still for one shot.

Disneyland (the happiest place on Earth)!! We were so excited that Grandma Annette was able to come with us this year. Talen loved every moment with Grandma and loved being spoiled. She sure knows how to take care of her grandchildren.

We were waiting for our first ride “Soaring California” and we were going to pass Talen through and have someone wait with him. Someone asked if they could measure him … we were thinking there is NO WAY he is tall enough. We told Talen to stand up real tall and he said, “Like a giraffe?” Sure enough that kid was able to wiggle his head to the top line. (It didn’t hurt that he had a baseball cap on!) From that moment on … Disneyland became a different ball game! He had no desire for fantasyland and the only thing he wanted to do was ride roller coasters! His favorite ride of the day was Thunder Mountain. He held his hands up the whole time.
It was a long day and we gave Grandma a run for her money! She was such a good sport and we loved spending time with her.
