Text from Scott...

*** Heather is doing great and is planning an escape from the hospital, she is even bossing me around. They have taken out the respirator and can move both hands. ***
Thank you to everyone for thoughts and prayers for Heather and her family...I know they are touched by your love. I have had such wonderful conversations with the Luedtke's and they are so thankful for the support that Heather has been receiving. They are in awe that she is loved by so many!! Thanks also to those who are fasting today... thank you for your faith.

Much Love ~ Steph

Early...

Heather's surgery had to be scheduled early! Her brain was swelling after her radiation and the doctor was afraid that she wouldn't be able to make it through the night. They are taking her in for the surgery now. I'm not sure of anymore details.

For all of those Fasting... I have such a testimony of it and know that if we all come together with our faith, everything will be in place as Our Heavenly Father has planned.
Love to you all!!

FIGHT!!!

I just got off the phone with Scott and he informed me that they want to FIGHT!! He is pumped up and his spirits are high.
Please forgive me for this quick up date ... my updates are no where near Cherise's so please stick to her blog for the news to come...
They met with the neurosurgeon and the oncologist and they were debating if there could be a possible surgery to remove one of the tumors that is causing the dizziness among other things. Together with Cherise, they decided to do it. The doctor told them by doing this it will give her more strength to fight. He said that there will be INTENSE chemo therapy. They said that they are willing to do it!!! So... Heather is preparing for another FIGHT!!! I am so proud of that girl. She has shown so much strength as she has battled this dang thing from the beginning.
As of right now they are planning for brain surgery on Friday. There are so many of you concerned and trying to find something that you can do. I suggest sending her cards. She has plenty of flowers and treats. I know we are ALL in the same boat not knowing what we can do. It’s frustrating because I know that we would all stop and do anything that she might need. I talked with Scott and we are going to have a fast for Heather on Friday. If you would like to participate or send the word out... that would be great!
I am so thankful for Heather and her fight. We all know what a sweet daughter of God she is. There isn't one ounce of mean in her! She has shown me and helped my testimony in so many ways. I am so thankful for the plan of salvation and my knowledge of it. This truly is the perfect plan and what a miracle eternal life is! I am thankful for the power of the atonement in my life and I am thankful to my brother and Savior Jesus Christ. I hope that through our dear friend Heather we can learn from her example of Faith. That no matter the problem or challenges we have in life, we can ALWAYS rely on Our Heavenly Father for comfort and strength.
May we all battle this together and help Heather FIGHT!!!
Love to you all!!!
Steph
